Albuquerque, NM – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Albuquerque on Wednesday night, according to the Albuquerque Police Department.
The deadly accident occurred on Tramway Boulevard near Candelaria Road at around 9:30 p.m. on January 22.
The pedestrian was reportedly facing away from traffic when they were hit by a vehicle traveling southbound on Tramway Boulevard.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
No further details were released.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
