Lake Forest, IL. – Three persons sustained injuries following a single-rollover collision early Tuesday morning in the northern suburb of Lake Forest, Illinois.
The accident happened a while before 2:00 a.m. on Route 41, north of Deerpath Road.
Authorities said one individual was thrown from the vehicle and two persons inside were extricated by Lake Forest Fire Department.
Three persons were transported to Condell Hospital for treatment of significant injuries.
Police believed alcohol and driving at high speed played a role in the collision.
Authorities blocked northbound lanes for several hours following the crash. The roadway was reopened for the morning rush.
