A 50-year-old DeKalb woman was ejected from the Kia and was pronounced dead at the accident scene

St. Charles, IL. – A DeKalb woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Friday, February 21, in St. Charles.
The fatal accident happened in the 4400 block of Lincoln Highway at around 9:30 a.m., according to the St. Charles Police Department.
A 2024 Kia that had overturned and a 2015 black GMC with heavy front-end damage were recovered at the accident scene.
A 50-year-old DeKalb woman was ejected from the Kia and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
A 49-year-old male passenger of the Kia had to be extricated before being taken to hospital in critical condition.
A 30-year-old Maple Park woman, a 30-year-old man and an infant, all occupants of the GMC, were injured and were taken to Delnor Hospital for treatment.

The St. Charles Police Department is investigating the accident.
