Hillsborough County, FL – A woman was killed in a golf cart collision in Hillsborough County on Wednesday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported at about 9 a.m. April 2, in the area of SR-674 and Pebble Beach Boulevard.
According to FHP, a 31-year-old man from Tampa was driving a Ram ProMaster on State Route 674 when he ran a red light at Pebble Beach Boulevard and collided with a golf cart on a green light.
The operator of the golf cart, a 71-year-old Sun City Center woman, was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Ram was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
The names of the involved parties were not immediately released.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
