Englewood, FL – A woman was hit and killed by a vehicle in Englewood on Tuesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident took place on Indiana Avenue near Cowles Street at about 10:30 p.m. on March 25.
According to the report, a woman was walking across Indiana Avenue from the west side to the east when she was hit by a northbound vehicle.
The victim, a 38-year-old, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The involved driver, a 43-year-old, was not injured and stayed at the scene.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
