Wabash County, IN – A woman was killed in a collision involving a school bus in Wabash County on Monday afternoon, according to the Indiana State Police.

The wreck took place on U.S. 24 near C.R. 700 West at about 4 p.m. on March 10.

According to the ISP, a 69-year-old man was driving the bus northbound on C.R. 700 East when he tried to cross U.S. 24 and collided with an oncoming 2011 Dodge Ram driven by Tina Tague, 54, of Rossville.

Tina Tague was airlifted to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.

A passenger in the truck was also hospitalized with major injuries.

A student on the bus was flown to the hospital with serious injuries.

Four other students were treated for minor injuries.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing but authorities reported that DUI is not suspected to have played a role.
