Goodyear, TX – A teen boy was killed after the minibike he was riding collided with a commercial truck in Goodyear on Monday afternoon, according to Good Year Police.
The accident happened at about 3:45 p.m. on January 6, 2025, near 159th Avenue and Madison Street, south of Van Buren Street
Officers responded to the scene and found a 14-year-old boy underneath a commercial truck.
As per the police, emergency crews performed CPR on the seriously injured boy before transporting him to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
The truck driver was not injured in the incident. The driver remained on scene and cooperated with investigators.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
