Phoenix, AZ– A 55-year-old woman on a bicycle was hit and killed by two vehicles near a Phoenix intersection late Friday night.

The fatal bicycle collision happened at about 11:15 p.m. on March 28 near 91st Avenue and Camelback Road.

Authorities said officers responded to the scene and found 55-year-old Stephanie Fisher with severe injuries.

Fisher later succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

According to FHP, Fisher was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene. A second vehicle also struck Fisher and left the scene.

The first driver was later arrested. The suspect reportedly showed signs of intoxication. The driver was later released pending the outcome of blood samples collected.

The driver of the second vehicle remains at large.

The crash remains under investigation.
