60-year-old Sherry Lovelle Bailey was transported to the hospital where she died 10 days later
Fort Wayne, IN. – A Fort Wayne woman has died several days after being injured in a collision that happened earlier this month in McMillen Park.
According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Capitol Avenue and Woodsdale Lane at around 10:30 p.m. on March 8.
A car was heading south on Woodsdale Lane when it failed to yield the right of way to a minivan traveling east on Capital Avenue.
60-year-old Sherry Lovelle Bailey was transported to hospital where she died 10 days later.
Four people were inside the minivan, and two were taken to the hospital.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
