A 40-year-old Goshen man was driving a car when he failed to stop at the stop sign and hit another vehicle

Elkhart County, IN. – One person was killed in a collision that left three others injured on Friday evening in Elkhart County.
According to the police, the accident happened at the intersection of County Road 9 and 36 at around 5:30 p.m. on March 21.
A 40-year-old Goshen man was driving a car when he failed to stop at the stop sign and hit another vehicle.
The impact caused the second car to overturn.
The Goshen man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The 41-year-old Wakarusa man driving the second car and one of his passengers were also hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
Another passenger from the overturned vehicle, 65-year-old Ronda Porter, was airlifted to the hospital where she later died.
More details about the accident were not released.
The Elkhart County Crash Investigation Team is handling the investigation.
