Indianapolis, IN. – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday evening in Indianapolis.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 5:13 p.m. on the 3200 block of North Keystone Avenue near the intersection with East 32nd Street.

A motorcycle reportedly crashed into a UPS truck at the intersection in unclear circumstances.

The motorcyclist, identified as 53-year-old Ronald Lee Kortz II, was pronounced dead on the scene by the Marion County Coroner’s Office.

The driver of the UPS truck stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
