Two people were transported to area hospitals with unknown injuries
Fulton County, IL. – An elderly woman was killed in a car accident that left two others injured near Astoria in Fulton County on Monday, February 24.
According to Illinois State Police, the accident happened at the intersection of U.S. Route 24 and Bucher Road at around 3:42 p.m.
A commercial vehicle and two passenger cars were involved in the accident.
The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately determined.
92-year-old Roberta Workman, of Astoria, was killed in the accident.
Two people were transported to area hospitals with unknown injuries.

The Fulton County Coroner’s Office and the Illinois State Police are investigating the accident.
