Rider Dies in Albuquerque Motorcycle Accident at Louisiana and Uptown Boulevards

APD Officers responded to the deadly motorcycle crash at about 5:30 p.m. on January 15 at Louisiana Boulevard and Uptown Boulevard.

Albuquerque, NV – A motorcyclist is dead following a two-vehicle traffic collision at an Albuquerque intersection Wednesday evening, according to the Albuquerque Police Department.

APD Officers responded to the deadly motorcycle crash at about 5:30 p.m. on January 15 at Louisiana Boulevard and Uptown Boulevard.

According to APD, the rider was killed in the accident. The identity of the victim was withheld pending next of kin notification.

The driver of the other vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities said Uptown Blvd. was shut down as officers worked at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation and no additional information is available at this time.
