Elderly Man Killed in Mesa Pedestrian Accident on 76th Street and McDowell Road
Mesa, AZ. – An elderly pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Mesa on Friday morning, according to the Mesa Police Department.
The incident happened at 76th Street and McDowell Road at about 9:30 a.m. April 4.
According to Mesa police, the elderly man was hit by a car just east of the Loop 202 Freeway.
The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No further details were released.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
