Hanover, IN. – 56-year-old Paula McAlister was killed and three others injured after a car collision on Saturday night in Hanover, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at 9:30 p.m. June 21, in the 5200 block of South River Bottom Road..
Per the report, responding officers said 75-year-old Charles Howell was operating an off-road car with three passengers when the car drove off the road and rolled severally down a hill.
74-year-old Jacquelyn Howel and Charles of Hanover were airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital in a critical condition.
55-year-old Donald McAlister of Madison, Indiana, sustained minor injuries and was transported to King’s Daughters Hospital in Madison, Indiana.
56-year-old Paula McAlister of Madison was declared dead at the crash site.
An autopsy is scheduled to reveal the cause of the death.
No one in the vehicle had a seatbelt or helmet on at the time of the collision.
Police did not suspect alcohol to have contributed to the accident, but a toxicology report was requested.
An investigation is underway.
