Tucson, AZ.- A woman died two weeks after a car accident that happened in Tucson earlier last month, according to the Tucson Police Department.
The incident took place in the 500 block of North Wilmot Road on March 4.
A 43-year-old man was driving northbound on North Wilmot Road when he collided with a southbound vehicle that was turning into a parking lot.
The driver of the southbound vehicle, identified as Patricia Smith, 87, was taken to a hospital, where she died on Monday, March 31.
Authorities said impairment was not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The collision is under investigation.
