Phoenix, AZ – One person was killed and another was injured early Thursday morning in a crash in Laveen, according to the police.
The fatal accident happened around 3:00 a.m. on August 28 at the intersection of 31st Avenue and Southern Avenue.
The circumstances surrounding the crash were not disclosed.
Two men were taken to the hospital where one of them later died. His name has not been released. The other man had non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident closed the intersection for several hours.
The police are investigating the accident.
