Phoenix, AZ – A woman was killed Wednesday morning in a pedestrian accident in north Phoenix, according to the authorities.
The deadly accident happened around 5:30 a.m. on September 10 on Cave Creek Road just south of Greenway Road.
Authorities said the woman was attempting to cross the road when she was struck by an SUV.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
The driver stayed at the scene and showed no signs of intoxication.
The accident closed both directions of Cave Creek Road but has since reopened.
The accident remains under investigation.
