Troopers said the woman was driving eastbound when a 27-year-old man driving wrong-way crashed into her vehicle head-on.

Jacksonville, FL. – A 35-year-old woman was killed after a wrong-way collision early Monday morning in Jacksonville, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at about 2:15 a.m. on April 27, on eastbound Interstate 10.
Troopers said the woman was driving eastbound when a 27-year-old man driving wrong-way crashed into her vehicle head-on.
The two vehicles rested on opposite shoulders of I-10 following the collision.
The woman was declared dead at the crash site.
The man tried to flee the scene on foot but he was caught and taken into custody. He was transported to the hospital for medical evaluation.
