Phoenix, AZ. – A woman was killed after a hit-and-run pedestrian accident involving two drivers on Tuesday night in Phoenix, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The accident happened a while before 10:00 p.m. on May 19, near 39th Avenue and McDowell Road.
Police said a woman was walking westbound on McDowell Road in the curb lane when she was struck by a tan-colored SUV. She was then hit by a white SUV.
Responding officers found the woman lying unresponsive. She was rushed to the hospital where she was declared dead.
None of the drivers remained at the scene after the crash.
