Prairie Grove, IL. – A woman was injured in a car accident on Thursday afternoon in Prairie Grove.
According to the Prairie Grove Police Department, the accident happened around 1:35 p.m. on Route 176 near Bayview Beach Road.
Two vehicles reportedly collided near the entrance of Prairie Isle Golf Course in unclear circumstances. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage in the collision.
A woman driving one of the cars was transported to Northwestern Medicine Hospital in McHenry with minor injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle declined medical evaluation at the scene.
Both drivers were the sole occupants of their vehicles.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
