Authorities said a mid-sized sedan was found approximately 50 feet down the ravine on the east side of Prospect with significant damage. The vehicle was upright and the passenger door was open.
Peoria, IL. – A woman was hurt following a traffic collision on Thursday morning in Peoria, according to the Peoria Fire Department.
The accident happened a while before 11:30 a.m. on March 12, at North Prospect Road and North Montclair Avenue.
Authorities said a mid-sized sedan was found approximately 50 feet down the ravine on the east side of Prospect with significant damage. The vehicle was upright and the passenger door was open.
A woman was 30 feet down the ravine. A series of ropes were set up to haul her up the steep incline. She was then taken to the hospital with multiple non-life threatening injuries.
No additional information concerning the single-vehicle collision was provided.
