Winnemucca, NV. – A bicyclist died after being struck by a car near Winnemucca on Tuesday, December 16.
According to the Nevada State Police, the fatal bicycle accident happened on State Route 294 near Humboldt County mile marker 4.
The man was riding a bicycle southbound when he was struck from behind by a black Pontiac Bonneville.
The man was taken to a local hospital before being transferred to a Utah hospital, where he died on December 25.
The Nevada Highway Patrol, Major Incident Reconstruction Team, is investigating the accident.
