Brookville, IN. – One person was killed in a car accident that happened on Friday night near Brookville in Franklin County.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Causeway and Saltwell roads.

William Pearson, 52, was driving a car on Causeway Road when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with a semi-truck.

Pearson died at the scene.

A passenger in the car was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
