Elko, NV. – 50-year-old William Harris has been identified as the man who was killed in a motorcycle accident earlier this month near Elko.
The fatal collision happened on Interstate 80 near mile marker 290 at around 5:04 p.m. on August 9, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The man was riding a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound on I-80 in the right lane when the rider went off the right side of the roadway into the dirt shoulder and vegetation.
Harris was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
