Both drivers were airlifted to local hospitals with serious injuries
Wickenburg, AZ. – Two people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision on Monday morning in Wickenburg, according to the AZDPS.
The collision occurred just before 6:00 a.m. on January 12 on US 93 near Santa Maria Road (milepost 164).
Authorities said a tractor-trailer and a box truck collided on the northbound side of the highway.
Both drivers were airlifted to local hospitals with serious injuries.
The collision closed both directions of the highway.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
