A 71-year-old man was taken to the local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries
Whitley County, IN. – A woman and two juveniles were killed in a car crash on Wednesday evening in Whitley County.
According to the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred around 6 p.m. on State Road 9 near the intersection with County Road N.
A 31-year-old woman was driving an SUV northbound on State Road 9 when she lost control and drifted into the southbound lane where she collided with another vehicle driven by a 71-year-old.
The SUV driver and her passengers, a 3-year-old boy and a 1-year-old girl, died in the crash.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 71-year-old man, was taken to the local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
