The man was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries

Volusia County, FL. – A woman was killed and a man was critically injured in a motorcycle accident in Volusia County on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened around 4:00 p.m. on High Bridge Road near Walter Boardman Lane.
A 64-year-old Wisconsin man was riding a 2025 Harley Davidson Heritage motorcycle westbound when he failed to negotiate a curve.
The rider entered the path of an eastbound Toyota Tacoma and hit the left side of a trailer that was being hauled by the Tacoma.
The man was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.
His passenger, a 57-year-old Wisconsin woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. Both were not wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 65-year-old Palm Coast, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
FHP is investigating the accident.
