Valencia County, N.M. – A 32-year-old bicyclist was injured in a crash on Wednesday in Valencia County.
According to the Valencia County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at El Cerro Loop Road and Winchester Lane.
A southbound black SUV swerved into the northbound lane, causing the driver of a Toyota Camry to veer out of the way and strike a bicyclist from behind.
The bicyclist was hospitalized with his condition deemed critical but stable.
Three people, including a juvenile, were arrested for involvement in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
