Auburn, IN. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident in Auburn on Saturday morning.
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 4:10 p.m. on County Road 28.
38-year-old Tyler Garten, of Auburn, was driving a 2006 Subaru Forester west on County Road 28 when he lost control and hit the rear of a 2003 Honda Accord driven by 24-year-old Seth Metcalf of Butler.
The impact of the collision sent the Subaru off the highway, where it crashed into a tree.
Garten was injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
