Cochise County, AZ – Two people were injured Tuesday afternoon in a head-on collision in Cochise County, according to the deputies.
The collision occurred on July 1, on Charleston Road.
Deputies said two cars were involved in a head-on collision, causing one of them to roll over.
A male driver in one of the cars was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
A female driver and a 2-year-old child in the other car were also taken to the hospital before the woman was airlifted to a Tucson hospital for further treatment.
The child was properly and safely secured in the car seat at the time of the accident and was uninjured.
The deputies are investigating the accident.
