The pedestrian was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he later died

Tumwater, WA. – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident in Tumwater on Tuesday evening, according to the Tumwater Police Department.
The fatal accident happened around 4:55 p.m. on December 2, at the intersection of Trosper Road Southwest and Lake Park Drive near Barnes Lake and Interstate 5.
Police said a 69-year-old from Tumwater was driving on Lake Park Drive when they made a left turn onto eastbound Trosper Road and hit a 54-year-old Tumwater man who was crossing the intersection at a crosswalk on a mobility scooter.
The driver stopped and called 911 after the accident.
The pedestrian was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he later died.
The accident closed Trosper Road for several hours.
Police are investigating the accident.
