Tucson, AZ. – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident in Tucson on Monday, according to the police.
The fatal collision happened on February 16 near the intersection of Mission and Ajo.
Police said a 55-year-old woman driving a green Jeep Renegade and was attempting to turn left from northbound Mission Road onto westbound Ajo Way when she was struck by a black Dodge Charger driven by a 30-year-old man.
After the collision, the Charger hit an adult female pedestrian.
The pedestrian was thrown into cacti near a bus stop.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both drivers were not impaired at the time of the accident.
Police are investigating the accident.
