Paramedics pronounced the 51-year-old driver dead at the scene
Tipton County, IN. – A 51-year-old Kokomo resident was killed in a car crash on Thursday afternoon in Tipton County.
According to the Tipton County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at County Road 800 West and County Road 600 North at around 2:30 p.m.
A 2024 Chevy Cruze was traveling southbound on County Road 800 West when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver was found unresponsive and had to be extricated.
Paramedics pronounced the 51-year-old driver dead at the scene.
Police say the driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
