Tucson, AZ – A man was killed Monday evening in a pedestrian accident in Tucson, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 9:00 p.m. on July 14 at the intersection of North Campbell Avenue and East Prince Road.

Police said Thomas Francis Wood, 63, was crossing the northbound lanes of Campbell in a marked crosswalk at the intersection when he was hit by a 2015 Jeep Wrangler.

The light was green for northbound and southbound traffic at the time of the accident.

Wood was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Jeep driver, a 51-year-old, was not impaired at the time of the accident.

The police are investigating the accident.
