According to the Phoenix Police Department, the fatal collision occurred just after 9 a.m. near 7th Avenue and McDowell Road.

Phoenix, AZ – A man on a scooter was killed after being hit by a vehicle near a central Phoenix intersection Tuesday morning.
Phoenix police identified the victim as 35-year-old Thomas Frost.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the fatal collision occurred just after 9 a.m. near 7th Avenue and McDowell Road.
Authorities said Frost was riding a scooter eastbound on McDowell Road when an SUV turned left from McDowell Road to head south on Seventh Avenue and struck the scooter.
Frost was transported to the hospital where he later died.
No additional details are available at this time.
The crash remains under investigation.
