A 16-year-old was riding on his e-bike, and an 18-year-old was riding as a passenger when they collided with a 2017 Ram pickup truck

Las Vegas, NV. – A teenage boy died after being struck by a car as he rode an e-bike on Monday night in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 6:20 p.m. on Jones Boulevard at Eugene Avenue.
A 16-year-old was riding on his e-bike, and an 18-year-old was riding as a passenger when they collided with a 2017 Ram pickup truck heading south on Jones.
Both teens on the bike were ejected and thrown into the street.
The 16-year-old teen was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The 18-year-old passenger was taken to UMC with serious injuries.
The driver of the Ram stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
