Troopers said an 18-year-old man was driving an ATV eastbound on a dirt path west of Northeast 171st Avenue Road when the ATV’s handlebar struck a tree. The vehicle went off the roadway and into a wooded area where it rolled over and struck another tree.
Marion County, FL. – A teen was killed and another was critically injured following an ATV rollover collision on Monday evening in Silver Springs, Marion County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Northeast 171st Avenue Road on March 16.

An 18-year-old female passenger was declared dead at the crash site.
The teen driver was rushed to HCA Ocala Regional as a trauma alert.
No additional information concerning this crash was released.
