Police said the teen was heading west on the eastbound shoulder in a Toyota Highlander for unknown reasons. The Toyota left the roadway and rolled over severally ejecting the teen out of the car. Troopers believed the teen was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.

Union County, OR. – A 17-year-old boy was killed after a traffic collision on Friday afternoon in Portland, according to the Oregon State Police.
The accident occurred a while after 12:30 p.m. on May 15, on Highway 82 near milepost 24.
Police said the teen was heading west on the eastbound shoulder in a Toyota Highlander for unknown reasons. The Toyota left the roadway and rolled over severally ejecting the teen out of the car. Troopers believed the teen was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.
The teen was pronounced dead at the crash site.
