Taos County, N.M. – A 36-year-old Taos County sergeant was killed in a car crash on Friday night.
According to the New Mexico State Police, the crash happened near the 7200 block of State Road 518 at around 10:30 p.m.
The sergeant was riding a motorcycle and was attempting to make a turn onto a dirt driveway and collided with a marked Taos County Sheriff’s Office pickup truck.
The 36-year-old officer succumbed to his injuries.
