Tallahassee, FL. – A 20-year-old man was killed after an ATV crash early Sunday morning in Tallahassee, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The deadly crash happened on July 13 on St. Marks Historic Railroad State Trail near Woodville Highway.

Troopers confirmed a silver all-terrain vehicle (ATV) went off the train and hit a tree, flipped over and went into a ditch ejecting the driver.

The Leon County EMS declared the male driver, a 20-year-old Tallahassee man, dead at the scene.

The Leon County Sheriff’s Office and Leon County EMS assisted the Florida Highway Patrol at the scene.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
