Sun Valley, NV. – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Friday afternoon in Sun Valley.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 2:23 pm near the intersection of Sun Valley Boulevard and 5th Avenue.
A female pedestrian was crossing the street when a vehicle making a left turn onto Valley Boulevard from the 5th Avenue struck her.
The woman was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with the police.
