Lake Stevens, WA. – Steven C. Prussel, 61, has been identified as the man who died in a multi-vehicle collision on Wednesday evening in Lake Stevens.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened around 4 p.m. on Highway 92 near 44th Street Northeast.

A gray Silverado was traveling east when it struck an eastbound Ford Fusion, causing a chain reaction collision involving a blue Silverado and a Toyota Tundra that were also traveling eastbound.

The impact sent the Fusion into the westbound lane, where it collided with a westbound Mack MD work truck.

Prussel, a resident of Snohomish, was driving the Ford Fusion and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

Two other drivers were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett with unknown injuries.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
