Santa Fe, N.M. – A bicyclist died after being struck by a car in Santa Fe on Wednesday evening.
According to the Santa Police Department, the accident happened around 8:20 p.m. at Cerrillos Road and St. Michael’s Drive.
42-year-old Steven Ballinger was riding a bicycle in the area and was struck by a car.
The man was transported to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
