St. Joseph County, IN. – A man died in a car crash on Thursday morning in St. Joseph County.
According to the Indiana State Police, the accident happened around noon on US 6 near Poplar Road.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a 28-year-old Walkerton man was driving an SUV when he veered into the opposite lane and collided with a passenger car operated by a 44-year-old LaPorte man.
The driver of the passenger car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The SUV driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
