The 58-year-old passenger in the SUV died while receiving treatment
St. Joseph County, IN. – One person was killed and two others were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday night in St. Joseph County.
According to local police, the crash occurred around 10:15 p.m. on Mayflower Road near Belleville Drive.
A 48-year-old South Bend woman driving an SUV had just exited the bypass and was heading north on Mayflower when she collided head-on with a pickup truck that crossed into the northbound lane.
Both drivers and a 58-year-old passenger in the SUV were taken to the hospital. Sadly, the passenger died while receiving treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
