Spokane, WA. – Two teens were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Saturday evening in Spokane, authorities reported.

The crash occurred around 6:40 p.m. on US 395 near West Russell Lane, according to the Washington State Patrol.

A vehicle traveling north on Highway 395 veered off the road, went through an adjacent ditch, and struck a 2017 Subaru Legacy waiting at a stop sign.

The impact pushed the Subaru into another northbound pickup, resulting in a three-vehicle collision.

Two occupants of the Subaru, both 17 years old, were injured and were transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center.

The driver who caused the crash attempted to flee on foot but was later apprehended and taken into custody for medical evaluation.
