The Ford driver was taken to Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles for treatment

Sequim, WA. – One person was injured in a head-on collision east of Sequim on Monday night, according to the WSP.
The collision occurred around 8:18 p.m. on Highway 101 at milepost 267, just west of Happy Valley Road.
WSP said a 25-year-old Sequim woman was driving a 2007 Acura MDX on the highway when she crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a westbound 2018 Ford Explorer driven by a 46-year-old Sequim woman.
The Ford driver was taken to Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles for treatment.
A passenger in the Ford, a 9-year-old girl, was not injured in the accident.
The Acura driver was arrested for vehicular assault and was being held at the Clallam County Jail.
All three people were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
The collision remains under investigation.
