Seattle, WA. – A man died after being struck by a recycling truck in Seattle’s Eastlake neighborhood on Tuesday morning, according to the police.
The fatal accident happened around 6:42 a.m. near the intersection of Eastlake Avenue East and East Hamlin Street.
Police said the homeless man was lying in front of the garage and recycling dumpsters in the middle of the street when he was struck by a recycling truck.
The man was killed in the accident.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Impairment was not a factor on the part of the driver.
The police are investigating the accident.
