Schererville, IN. – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Tuesday evening in Schererville.
According to Schererville police, the accident happened at the intersection of U.S. Route 41 and U.S. Route 31 at around 5:55 p.m.
A pedestrian was walking across a street in the area and was struck by a vehicle traveling south on U.S. 41.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
